Has my car been recalled?

There have been several car recalls lately. Is your car one of the affected vehicles? You can easily check by following this link.

Car RecallsHonda Motor Co.

One of the most recent notable recalls puts Honda Motor Co. in the spotlight. They’ve had to call back another 4.5 million vehicles around the world, bringing the total vehicle recall count up to 24.5 million, in connection with Takata Corp. air bags. The faulty air bags have been linked to 8 deaths around the world.

Officials say the defect can cause the air bags to deploy with dangerously explosive force, sending metal shrapnel racing toward the driver and passengers.

This most recent Honda recall involves cars manufactured from 2007 to 2011. None of the newly recalled vehicles are in the U.S. or Canada.

Hyundai Motor Co. LTD

Hyundai has recalled over 140,000 2015 Sonata’s due to a problem with the front seat belt buckles. The issue can prevent the belt from being properly secure, and the buckle can jam is the tongue is inserted at an angle.

As you know, driving without a seatbelt significantly raises the risk of injury in an accident. There have been no reported accidents or injuries among the defected vehicles sold in the U.S. and Canada.
