My Jeep broke down in the middle of the Zilwaukee bridge. I had it towed to Strobel Automotive repair shop, not knowing what to expect. It was late so they set me up with a local motel. The next day Chris fully and honestly admitted to me they had misdiagnosed the issue and would need another day to repair it. He did not charge me a penny for the work. Instead, he provided a loaner vehicle and sent me home and offered to drive my vehicle home and swap out vehicles. The repair charge was half the amount of the original repair. I have never met a more honest and high character, Auto Repair professional in my life. And Donna, the office manager was incredibly helpful and nice during my ordeal. We didn't know up front if we could do something about it. So they scheduled me in for an appointment to check everything out. First appointment we went over the aftermarket PCM Module from USAlternators. We looked at it together and went over the details about the install. They agreed to have a specialist take a shot at it (Chris). Was scheduled for 0800. They were ridiculously busy this morning and fit me in. Absolutely professional job done. Wires routed cleanly. Everything was tight and secure. Went out of their way to do other minor things around the vehicle. Such as tire pressure and checking gauges. The quality of the work was absolutely beautiful. Chris had to make some minor modifications on a plastic panel for the adjustment knob to fit securely. That looks extremely clean! Overall price was within range of expectations. Not to expensive, not outrageously cheap. Completely within median range. The folks here were always polite and cordial. It was a pleasure to work with these folks. I would bring any vehicle here without worries. I had an issue that they addressed immediately. I was overcharging due to changing the chemistry of my batteries. I went from conventional AGM to Supercap up front (XS Power SB500-48). With two runs of 1/0ga Power & Ground to rear end lithium (XS Power XMAX DIY 90) Lifepo4 Lithium Chemistry. They were knowledgeable about what my ideas were and how I wanted it executed. I went to four shops requesting this in my area. An people looked at me cross-eyed. Asking why I'd want to regulate my voltage manually. So I kept running around until I found Stroebel. Now I have a place to call home base.
