Dale Stroebel – Owner

The “mechanic bug” has always been with Dale Stroebel, the owner of Stroebel Automotive. Born and raised 3 miles from his shop, Dale first started repairing bicycles as a child before transitioning to motorcycles and eventually cars. When he graduated from the Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis in 1980, Dale worked for a few different shops before opening his own in November of 1982. When it comes to operating his shop, Dale most loves the relationships he builds with his customers by solving their vehicle’s issues. In his spare time, he enjoys off-roading in his Jeep and riding Harleys with his wife.

Justin Stroebel – Service Manager

At Stroebel Automotive, we’re all about family, and Justin is no exception! With 18 years of experience as a Union Welder/Steamfitter with Local 85, he brings expert knowledge and a hardworking attitude to our team. Outside of the shop, Justin is all about big engines and open fields—from tractor pulling and collecting tractors to farming and the great outdoors. When he’s not wrenching or welding, you’ll find him hunting, fishing, camping with his girlfriend Cassie, or expanding his impressive bourbon collection. Oh, and did we mention he’s got two awesome pups? Annie the Mastiff and Riggs the Bloodhound—probably keeping him on his toes just as much as his hobbies!

Kyle Stroebel – Lead Technician Manager

Kyle is a Certified Technician Manager and ASE Certified professional with years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry. As a proud member of the Stroebel family legacy, Kyle brings a deep passion for quality service and innovation to the shop every day. Known for his creative modifications to off-road vehicles and expert-level repair skills, Kyle is a key part of what makes Stroebel Automotive stand out.

When he’s not under the hood, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and continuing the traditions that have made Stroebel Automotive a trusted name in the community.

Janice Aven – Customer Service

With over 30 years of experience in customer service, I originally set out to earn a degree in science, but life had other plans. While working to support myself through school, I discovered a passion for helping people — and eventually chose to stay in the field I loved.

After raising twin sons and working three decades in a corporate setting, I joined Stroebel Automotive in 2014. Having been a loyal customer for 20 years, I was honored when Dale invited me to be part of the team. His commitment to treating customers like family made the decision an easy one.

I’m proud to be part of a business that values honesty, integrity, and true customer care — the way it should be.

Nate – Certified Automotive Technician

Nate brings years of hands-on experience and expertise to Stroebel Automotive, specializing in suspension work and advanced diagnostics. As our Lead Automotive Technician, he takes pride in delivering quality service and ensuring every vehicle leaves the shop in top condition.

Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two children. Family is at the heart of everything he does — both in and out of the shop.

Ryan – Automotive Technician

Ryan is a skilled Automotive Technician with a specialty in evaporator coils and electrical systems. Always striving to grow, he’s currently enrolled in school to advance his technical knowledge further and stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of automotive repair.

When he’s not in the shop or hitting the books, Ryan enjoys riding dirt bikes, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his dog.

Chris – Certified Master Automotive Technician

Chris is ASE Certified and a Volkswagen-certified specialist with expertise in engine, chassis, e-mobility, transmission, and electrical systems — making him a true powerhouse when it comes to today’s advanced vehicle technology. His deep technical knowledge and precision make him an invaluable part of the Stroebel Automotive team.

Outside the shop, Chris enjoys fishing, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors. He’s a proud husband, devoted dad, and pet parent to one dog and three cats.
