Dale Stroebel – Owner

The “mechanic bug” has always been with Dale Stroebel, the owner of Stroebel Automotive. Born and raised 3 miles from his shop, Dale first started repairing bicycles as a child before transitioning to motorcycles and eventually cars. When he graduated from the Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis in 1980, Dale worked for a few different shops before opening his own in November of 1982. When it comes to operating his shop, Dale most loves the relationships he builds with his customers by solving their vehicle’s issues. In his spare time, he enjoys off-roading in his Jeep and riding Harleys with his wife.

Dan Easterling – Certified Automotive Technician

Dan started with Stroebel Automotive in 1995 while still in high school. He progressed in his experience and skill level to a ASE Certified Technician and was a big part of the team here. Dan moved on in 2008 to other opportunities until his return here in October of 2015. He brings a great deal of diverse knowledge and experience to help provide the service Stroebel Automotive is known for.

Dan and his wife Candice have 2 sons.

Duane Cundy – Certified Automotive Technician

Duane Cundy started working for Stroebel Automotive in 2017 after two years of college study. He graduated from Michigan Career and Technical Institute with six state certifications in automotive.  Duane continues to gain experience and is a valuable part of the Stroebel Automotive team.

Janice Aven – Customer Service

I’ve worked in Customer Service for over 30 years.  I went to college to pursue a Bachelor degree in Science with thoughts of working in a lab. During my time in school I started to work in customer service to help fund my expenses. A couple things happened along the way.   1) I realized I liked working with people, helping, serving and caring for them.  2) I became a mother of twins with about a year left to complete my Bachelor’s degree.  Overall, life happens and family and security often become important, as does figuring out what will make you happy in life.  After trying to juggle school, work and my sons, I made a decision to stay in customer service. It was a great decision; I’ve enjoyed working with my customers and helping them.

After 30 years at the same job and raising two wonderful sons who have given me grandchildren and two women to call daughters, in 2014 I found myself starting over. Stroebel Automotive has been my service provider for 20 years.  When Dale asked if I would join his team I was honored to do so. His belief in how he wants to serve and treat our customers made the decision easy. I’d been working in a large corporate setting that moved from treating customers as neighbors, friends and family to just being numbers. I’m so lucky to have joined Stroebel Automotive and to have been able to get back to good old fashioned customer service, treating customers with honesty and integrity.
